Sesame Street Live

These balloons were sold at intermission for $10 a balloon.....we resisted the purchase, but others did not...
Eventually all of the balloons were sold....craziness....

About a month ago, we took Faith to see Sesame Street Live with her cousins. They all had a great time and were thoroughly entertained!

Faith loves her new cowboy boots that her daddy bought her!! They even light up!! She is ready for the rodeo.

Houston Zoo with Friends

About a month ago, Faith and I took advantage of a pretty Friday afternoon outside and went to the zoo with some of her classmates from school. We had such a good time. The kids had fun playing together and seeing the animals and the moms had fun getting to know one another better! From left to right: Pierce, Faith, John, Kacey (John's big sister)

Faith still talks about this day with her friends. Paul and John are probably her two favorite people at school! They have transitioned to the next class up and Faith will be joining them soon. We hope to have some more playdates soon!! :)

"Let's Go Fly A Kite...

...and send it soaring!"

A few weeks ago Keith and Faith went to a kite flying competition at a local park with our friend Raghu. Some of these people get pretty competitive trying to knock other kites out of the sky. Raghu used to do this in India and he wanted to share the experience with us. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend, but Keith and Faith had a fun time.

Basketball 101 with the Houston Rockets

A few weeks ago my mom and I got the opportunity to go to Basketball 101 hosted by the Houston Rockets. We got to go behind the scenes at the Toyota Center and see the players' locker room and practice lay-ups on the actual court that Yao Ming and company play on. We had a great time and learned a lot.Craig Ackerman (radio voice of the Houston Rockets and host for the night)

Jack Sikma (former NBA player and assistant Rockets coach)

The following night we got to go to the Rockets game as part of our package, so Faith, Keith and Ken joined me and my mom. Faith especially liked watching the Rockets Power Dancers and Clutch the Rockets Bear.

Unfortunately, the Rockets didn't win, but we still got to go to a Rockets Player Meet-N-Greet after the game.

The player that we met and got his autograph from was.....Chuck Hayes.....so that was pretty exciting for us to have a player that actually PLAYS meet with us.
