First "Real" Bath

Here are pictures of Christian's first official "real" bath after his umbilical cord fell off. As you can see --- he is not a fan of the bath. Hopefully, he will learn to like them. :)

Faith and Baby Brother

Faith and Aunt Jas meet Christian for the first time.Our new family picture as a family of four!!Faith holding baby brother once we got home from the hospital. She enjoys holding her baby brother, but has her limits.

Faith was a bit overwhelmed when she came to see us at the hospital. I think too much was going on and she couldn't process everything at once. She has adapted now that baby brother is home and in her environment.

Hospital Room Decorations

I was completely surprised when we checked into the hospital and were taken to the labor & delivery room and the room was all decorated with balloons and streamers. The clinical nursing director for the Women's Center decorated the room for me the night before. She made sure I was well taken care of during my hospital stay and had the best labor nurse!! I can't thank her enough. I guess it does help who you know and work with.

Here are Christian's first Aggie overalls that a coworker of mine made for him. He will be a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2032. Oh my---that sounds so far away. She was the same person that made Faith's when she was born. We put these outside the hospital room after he was born. I can't wait for him to wear them when he is older. I guess I need to start working on some new overalls for Faith, so they can match. :)

Sesame Street Live

These balloons were sold at intermission for $10 a balloon.....we resisted the purchase, but others did not...

Eventually all of the balloons were sold....craziness....

About a month ago, we took Faith to see Sesame Street Live with her cousins. They all had a great time and were thoroughly entertained!

Cowboy Boots!!

Faith loves her new cowboy boots that her daddy bought her!! They even light up!! She is ready for the rodeo.

Houston Zoo with Friends

About a month ago, Faith and I took advantage of a pretty Friday afternoon outside and went to the zoo with some of her classmates from school. We had such a good time. The kids had fun playing together and seeing the animals and the moms had fun getting to know one another better! From left to right: Pierce, Faith, John, Kacey (John's big sister)

Faith still talks about this day with her friends. Paul and John are probably her two favorite people at school! They have transitioned to the next class up and Faith will be joining them soon. We hope to have some more playdates soon!! :)
