Playing in My New Tent
Faith loves playing in her new tent that she got for Christmas from Grannie and Grandpa O'Connor. Besides the tent, it came with a backpack, flashlight, sleeping bag and a water bottle. Faith is having lots of fun playing with it. :) Not sure if we will ever camp outside, but the living room is good for now.

UPDATE - on What to Do?
A quick update to my post a few days ago about Faith waking up and not wanting to go back to sleep. Well the day after that long night....the lack of sleep finally caught up with her and she fell asleep on my lap as we were getting ready to watch the Super Bowl. She slept that way for almost an hour. I didn't want her to nap too long because then she wouldn't go to bed for us. Luckily she slept fine for us.
18 Months Old!!
Faith turned 18 months old today....can you believe it? We started off the day by going to her check up at the doctor's.
What a little doll!! I guess I am a little partial though. :)
Faith enjoyed pulling all of the books out of the basket while we waited.
I had to give her the camera case in order to distract her because she was getting a little ansy.
Faith is starting to remember being there I think, so she wasn't as comfortable around her doc like she usually is. She got two vaccinations today and only cried for a little bit. What a trooper!
Here are her stats:
Weight: 23.3# (40%)
Height: 32 inches (60%)
Head: 19 in (90%)
Everything is right on track and we don't have to return until she is 2 years old for her next checkup. She is a prefectly healthy toddler, except for a little cold that she got this week and has graciously shared with her parents. We are trying to teach her to share, right?
Here are a few pictures while we waited in the examine room for the doc.
3D........and Chuck
We are big fans of the show Chuck on NBC. It is really funny and quirky! Keith picked up 3D glasses at the grocery store, so we could enjoy the special 3D version of Chuck this past Monday. I was able to notice a little difference with the glasses on, but I wasn't that impressed....at least we have 3D glasses for the next time something comes along on tv that is 3 Dimensional. :)
You can actually see that we have Chuck playing on the tv in the background. Do you like my new look?? I am thinking of wearing these to work next week. ;)
Faith wouldn't wear the glasses for me, so this is the best I could do.

What To Do??
What to do when your child wakes up at 11:30pm and won't go back to bed??
No fever - check
Not sick - check
No dirty diaper - check
Rocked in the rocking chair - check
Walked around the house - check
Drink of water - check
Music - check
Pillow - check
Nothing of the above worked, so we TRIED to let her cry it out in the crib.....which makes me feel so BAD, but I don't know what else we could do. She went to sleep after 15 minutes and slept for 30 minutes and then woke up again....UGH
I ended up getting her to fall asleep on the living room floor with her blanket and pillow....and I dared not move her for the risk she may wake up.....so momma slept on the couch, so I would be near her in case she woke up again, but it was more comfortable than the floor. She ended up sleeping all night after that until a little after 7am....
I would love to know what goes on in her mind at night in order to keep her from being able to sleep.

Bounce U!!!
A couple of weekends ago, we went to celebrate Nikolina's 5th birthday at Bounce U!! We all had lots of fun playing on all of the inflatables....It was a lot of work going up the steps for the slide....I always felt like I could slip at any moment because it was so steep and there was such little friction with my socks and the plastic stairs. Keith and I defintely got our work out that day taking turns going up and down with Faith. :)
Here is a feet shot of our little family before we went down the slide together!
Here is the birthday girl, with her birthday cake!! Happy Birthday Nikolina!!

Angie & Mong's Wedding
My dear, sweet friend, Angie got married a few weekends ago and we were able to help Angie & Mong celebrate their big day! Her dresses were so beautiful and the food was yummy....the night was definitely memorable. Congratulations, you two!!!
A toast to the beautiful couple!!

Dress #2 -- so pretty!!
Here I am with Angie & Mong and our other good friend, Tory....Tory's husband, Milam was nice enough to watch their 7 month old daughter at the hotel while Tory had fun at the wedding....I wish I would have gotten a picture of them before they went back to the hotel.
Here are Keith and I with Angie and Mong.

Smarty Pants
Faith is too smart for her own good. I recently purchased some whole grain crackers that looked pretty nutritious in the baby aisle. I thought they would be better for Faith to eat instead of goldfish crackers. So I mix some in with her other snacks in her snack bowl and give it a try....that little booger apparently doesn't like the new crackers because she will actually pick them out when she grabs a handful from her snack bowl and give them to me. I have tried them and they taste good to me. I haven't given up. I will keep trying....that is until I run out of the crackers to see if she changes her mind. I doubt I will be purchasing these again.
Who knows....I may have found a new snack for myself for a little while.
Here is a cute picture of Faith sitting in the bassinet (that is meant for her new baby doll) with her baby doll. I guess she wanted to show her baby doll how it works. ;)

New Year's Eve
We celebrated New Year's Eve with our friends, Josh & Leslie....it has become a tradition the last few years....good friends, good food, and good fun! Faith stayed up till about 11pm that night, but couldn't hold out till Midnight. We made sure to eat our black eyed peas, cabbage & grapes (Leslie saw this on the Internet...you are supposed to eat 12 grapes....the number of sweet grapes you eat will be the number of good months you will have and the number of sour grapes you eat will be the number of not so good months you will have for the new year). We also had the "pumpkin hummus." Can't wait till next year!

Tortellini Baby Shower
They got a lot of baby girl items that will be very useful. We got them a baby bumbo because we loved ours when Faith was younger. They never had one for their son, Luca. We had Faith give a demonstration.....I couldn't believe she still fit....just a little squished.
